A popular French breakfast with a twist. Tartines are also known as an open sandwich, and are usually eaten at home or in a cafe. Served over grilled pear, the bitterness of our Marinated Goat Cheese paired with earthy walnuts, creates a unique and juxtapose composition, combining a tart and creamy texture.
Serves 4 people
8 Slices of Sourdough Bread
1 Jar of Meredith Dairy Marinated Goat Cheese
1/2 Cup Walnuts
2 Cups Rocket
Turn on the BBQ or heat your griddle pan. Cut pears into quarters and season them with Olive Oil and Honey. Place them on the BBQ or can and cook them until golden and soft.
Meanwhile, place your sourdough slices in the toaster. Once toasted, spread with a generous amount of Marinated Goats Cheese, Walnuts, rocket and balsamic vinegar.
Place the cooked pears on top and drizzle with honey.
