    Pear & Maple Syrup Crostinis with Marinated Goat Cheese

    These Pear, Maple Syrup & Goat Cheese Crostinis hit the spot for sweet and savoury fans alike. A few simple ingredients along with some juicy slightly grilled pears make up this delicious treat. Great as an entertaining appetiser when you have people coming over!

    Serves 6 people


    • 1 baguette
    • 2 tbsp of maple syrup or honey
    • 2 tbsp of crushed walnuts
    • 4 cubes of Meredith Dairy Marinated Goat Cheese
    • 1 big pear
    • couple sprigs of thyme
    • butter for frying


    • Step 1 Slice pear into thin slices.
    • Step 2 Heat up a griddle pan with a bit of butter. Fry pear slices for a couple of minutes on each side until softened.
    • Step 3 Slice baguette on an angle into thin slices, and toast bread if desired. Spread Meredith Dairy Marinated Goat Cheese on top, and top with a slice of pear, thyme, and walnuts. Drizzle with maple syrup to finish.
