Lemon Yoghurt Cake

Both light and tangy, this lemon yoghurt cake provides harmonious flavour. Baked with our Meredith Dairy Goat Milk Yoghurt, it'll be a well-known hit amongst family and friends.

Serves 12 people


  • 1 Cup of Meredith Dairy Goat Milk Yoghurt
  • 2 Lemons, Zested
  • 3/4 Cup of Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Cups Self-Raising Flour
  • 1/2 Tsp. Salt
  • 3 Tsp. Lemon Juice
  • 1 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs


  • Step 1 Mix lemon rind, oil, eggs and sugar together until well combined.
  • Step 2 Add flour, salt and lemon juice and combine.
  • Step 3 Mix in Meredith Dairy Goat Milk Yoghurt.
  • Step 4 Pour into greased and lined cake tin.
  • Step 5 Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 mins or until you insert a skewer and remove it again without cake mix coating it.
