    Grilled Mushrooms with Goats Cheese

    A great simple BBQ recipe for the Australian Summer! Also perfect for the vegetarians in the room and a great replacement for red meat.

    Serves 4 people


    • 4 Portobello Mushrooms
    • 2 Tbsp of Olive Oil
    • Salt & Pepper
    • Thyme
    • 2 Cubes Marinated Goats Cheese


    • Step 1 Season the portobello mushrooms with olive oil, thyme and salt & pepper.
    • Step 2 Heat a BBQ to medium-high. Wrap the mushrooms in foil and place them on the BBQ.
    • Step 3 Close the lid and cook the mushrooms in foil for approximately 5 minutes. Once mostly cooked, remove the mushrooms from the foil and grill directly on the BBQ for a minute on each side.
    • Step 4 Remove from the BBQ and serve!
