Pear & Maple Syrup Crostinis with Marinated Goat Cheese
These Pear, Maple Syrup & Goat Cheese Crostinis hit the spot for sweet and savoury fans alike. A few simple ingredients along with some juicy slightly grilled pears make up this delicious treat. Great as an entertaining appetiser when you have people coming over!

Ingredients
1 baguette
2 tbsp of maple syrup or honey
2 tbsp of crushed walnuts
4 cubes of Meredith Dairy Marinated Goat Cheese
1 big pear
couple sprigs of thyme
butter for frying
Preparation
Step 1
Slice pear into thin slices.
Step 2
Heat up a griddle pan with a bit of butter. Fry pear slices for a couple of minutes on each side until softened.
Step 3
Slice baguette on an angle into thin slices, and toast bread if desired. Spread Meredith Dairy Marinated Goat Cheese on top, and top with a slice of pear, thyme, and walnuts. Drizzle with maple syrup to finish.
