Ingredients

4 brown onions

2 tbs brown sugar

olive oil

fresh thyme
-
1 sheet of puff pastry

salt and pepper
Preparation

Step 1
Preheat oven to 200 degrees

Step 2
Lay puff pastry sheet on an oven tray lined with baking paper. Fold over 1cm on the sides and press down with a fork.

Step 3
Slice onions and add to a saucepan with olive oil, stir till translucent

Step 4
Once onions are translucent add brown sugar and cook on low for 20 minutes

Step 5
The onions are done when they look caramelised/brown

Step 6
Add the onion to the puff pastry sheet, as well as salt and pepper, fresh thyme and goat cheese

Step 7
Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown
